"lust not after her beauty in thine heart; neither let her take thee with her eyelids"

Though God generally created the women folk to constitute ‘help meet’ unto the men, the activities of the devil and his demons and their human agents have given rise to another kind of woman.
So, this other women’s character is quite different from that of the one which was first created in the Garden of Eden. She has come to develop some characteristics that can rightly qualify her as being wicked.
Before then, the first woman, Eve, had been naked and never batted an eyelid. But from the point when she knew sin, the glory of God departed from her and her husband. In all these, they did not repent. Rather, the wicked character disposition remained in them and they began to raise offspring in that condition of sin.

Genesis 5:1-2 states, “ And Adam lived an hundred and thirty years, and begat a son in his own likeness, after his image; and called his name seth.”
What was this likeness and image? Remember the initial image and likeness of God. (Gen 1:26-28) That was before sin. After sin, man developed his own image and likeness: the likeness of wickedness; the tendency to commit evil. It was in this stage of mind that he begat a son. Gen.5:1-2 records, “this is the book of the generation of Adam. In the day God created man, in the likeness of God made he him.
(2) male and female created he them; and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created .”

So, we can see that above latest character disposition of humans after the contact with sin produced a different kind of personality who became dastardly (cruel and evil) in nature. Gen 4: 1-10 records “ and Adam knew Eve his wife; and she conceived, and bare Cain, and said, I have begotten a Man from the lord……. From the above scriptures, we can see that Cain killed his brother Abel without any single act of provocation. Even when God sought to meditate on the matter, he (Cain) was somehow confrontational. “am I my brothers keeper?” He asked. That is why categorizing every woman a favored might lead one into believing that every woman s good. Therefore, it is not every woman that should be regarded as favored woman. It is only those that are born-again and have been washed in the blood of the lamb having accepted Jesus as their Lord and savior that can be classified as such.


The tag of favour outlines the potentials in being a Godly woman and offers chances of self actualization. There are women who cannot be categorized as favoured though their natural potentials point to that direction. The reason is because of their inability to maximize these potentialities in tandem with the word of God so that they can positively impact on the general society.

Fear

Many student have placed their destiny in reverse, and as they grow up their destiny is locked because of spirit of fear. You will find out that people did not have a sound mind, because they are down in the word of God. A person with a mind of God is always saying something with faith, not like that of a normal mind, people with this kind of mind always encounter failure and fear. There is no positivity in the mind of people with fear. The bible was not joking when it said "when there is casting down there is a lifting up. With this spirit of fear one cannot summon courage to do anything useful in life. 

It is very difficult for a man of fear to get to the height of greatness because success is full of risk and a man full of fear always see failure in anything he wants to do, one of the dangerous qualities of fear isbits calm nature, fear can exist in somebody for a very long time without the person knowing.. So faith frequency is a divine frequency for us to live on a faith frequency there are some habits that should be formed. With these habits, one can begin to live above fears.

will give you a story about me. Sometime early this year I had this contemplation in me whether to do something, that is to contest for a post in my department, Financial secretary precisely. During this period I really had this fear overwhelming me. How to meet people, tell my mates, campaign, and perform my manifesto, I was really searching all round for the grace to overcome this fear, so I can stand in front of crowd, confront them and tell them what I can do if I get to that position, it wasn't an easy but thank God for his life infinite grace. I prayed and asked God to help me embark on that task, all of a sudden that courage, boldness, that of Moses, Joshua, David, Samson came on me, which made me move out. Though some atom of fear were prevailing in me but I didn't let them in, in summary today after so many hindrances by the grace of God, I am the Financial secretary of my department.

You see that's what the mind can do, if I had concurred to that spirit of fear, I wouldn't have achieved what I wanted, so I ask you to move out of that place you are, go and proclaim that which is yours, no matter any hindrances on the way, God almighty will see you through in Jesus name. When you work in faith you have this feeling that God is by your side. The reason why you see your self  as a failure, is because you have not made a move.

Causes of positive proclamation
People are afraid to face challenges, this days people want fast things with ease. They no longer have the mind set to wait on God, they are always in a hurry, so when things begins to become difficult they think life is becoming a failure and that is a serious problem. If God wants to provoke your faith, he will give you a task to test, but if Satan wants to give five someone of life, he do it in a way you will think all is fine, later it becomes hard for you. 

 If you can make a change of mind to always have this spirit positive proclamation, always have the mind set that God is alive and will never forsake you. Resist from friends, with negative minds. Friends can always this negative mind set, the kind of friendship you make matters a lot, have friends that is always eager to make it in life and you see that, you always want to work with them. You cannot change until you change the kind of voice you listen to. 

Exo.16:2, And the whole congregation of  children of Israelite murmured against Moses and Aaron in the wilderness. If you Moses had listen to the murmuring of the children of Israelite he would have been discouraged, and fall in faith. You should have the mindset to fulfill result before time. We need to go back to the world of God. Another thing that makes you have this mind of fear is sin and bad relationship with God. Are you compromising your christian life in the name of being social, you will see that you have the mind of the devil which is fear, Christianity is not all being santumonous you also need to be perfect in life.

Key to a brighter future
A path to a successful career, we all know is not an easy thing, it cones with trials, temptation etc. Anyone that is to pass through this path, being it youths, students, should know that the road is filled with trials, temptation. The rules building the race is objective not to fail, of course there is short cut, if you want to get it easy, that will make you to compromise, so children thus road Gud has made for us to patiently go is the right way for us. As we all desire to be great in life, some desire to be  a doctor, nurse, engineers etc. But it all determines on the way you pursue your dream through self discipline.

Points to consider: 
1. Self Discipline explained and reasons: If you look at self it means you. So self discipline is the ability to reject instant gratification in Favour of something better. Ability to take a deciaiont against that which is stressful, it is the ability to make your self work hard. If you have an "A" if you have that thing which you desire it requires you to have a discipline that even when no one is talking to you but you still know what to do. A person who don't have self discipline is like a person without without future. Let's talk to ourselves as students, if you look at the academic calendar, you will discover that there are distractions, as sexual friendship, Smoking, examination malpractice, stealing, parties/clubbing, cultism, but as a child of God who is sure of a bright future should be able to discipline him self not to endulge in such things. If you look at Daniel 1:8, Daniel didn't yield to the temptation that came his way no matter how rich the food is, him and his friends did not partake in that meal, but some days later the result showed that Daniel and his friends were healthier because, God came down and nourished the food.

If you look at the world today, the internet has taken over the youth, every youth now have a smart phone, but it takes a disciplined person to vow that this internet, this works cup draws, won't defile me, self discipline in your life determines God seeing it will help you make it in life.

I am sure some schools might have started or finished exam, a self disciplined child won't start reading this night, a student desires to be the head, is going to read his book ahead of time, those who have such mind won't waste time in footlball matches, Manchester united, Chelsea, Barcelona, Real Madrid, at a relevant time, though it is not bad, it just have to be self disciplined.

You might have the lowest CGPA due to mistakes made due to ignorance of self discipline, the path of success have been given to you all it just determined how hard you work to fix it. So be focused. I want to tell you as you put yourself to self discipline God will help you in Jesus name.

2. How to develop Self Discipline: Developing Self Discipline is a choice , but the end thereof is the result, 2Cor 12:9, the grace of God is sufficient unto you, if only you will ask God to help you to be self disciplined. Ask God grave to be submissive.

  • Daily goal setting.
  • Daily time management
  • Courage
  • Excellent health pattern
  • Regular saving and investing
  • Hard work 
  • Continuous learning

Backsliding
When a danger is foreseen, warning I inevitable. Backsliding is a spiritual diseases and it is easier to prevent than to cure, so, early detection through warning is the best cure. Just like other normal diseases, if you fail to recognize the symptoms, then prevent it before it becomes worst it will now be difficult to cure. A vivid look into the book of Hebrew shows that it is a book of warning (Her. 4:1; 10:38; Heb. 12:14-15 etc)

Warning highlighted from this text
1. Lest any man fail of the grace of God 
2. Lest any rt of bitterness spring up trouble
3. Lest there be any fornication
4. Let there be a profane person as Esau.
What is backsliding?
1. When a person who is on the part of heaven slides back intobsin and reject God. - Zach. 7:11
2. Backsliding is turning back to the iniquities if the forefathers - Jer. 11:10
3. Backsliding is turning ones heart away from God - 1Kg. 11:9
4. Backsliding means forsaking God - Jer. 2:19
5. Backsliding. Rebellion against God - Joshua 22:16


What do we mean by warning? Ezekiel 33:5
1. Warning is precautionary statement
2. It is an admonition
3.  It is an opportunity for safety and prevention
4. It to s a piece of advice
5. To give notice of a danger
6. A sign of impending evil and possible harm
7. A sign post of future danger
8. It is a sign that indicates hazard ahead on the road that may not be readily apparent to a man.

9. Grievous errors and mistakes

What can we do?
o Repent
o Remember where and where you fell -           Rev. 2:5
o Submit your self to spiritual Authority
o Have regular quiet time
o Read and meditate on the word of God
o Do not quench the spirit 
o Do not forsake the company of the saint
o Pray against the spirit of backsliding
o Ask for sufficient grace

Conclusion: Despite this overwhelming warning in the scripture there are many backsliders (Preachers, workers, members) who will not yield to these warnings ( Her.3:10-11). And the final word of caution is , it is extremely impotlrtant that you take heed lest you fall.

Time is passing quickly. This has become a stark reality for me. 

The company I used to work for is now gone, having been purchased by another company. 
My formal work career has passed away. 
The house we lived in for years has been sold and is now gone.

When I look in the mirror in the morning, the evidence is increasing that even my body is passing away.

When you think about it, we are only “renting” or leasing our bodies for a period of time. We are going to have to turn them in at some point. The question facing those of us who realize the importance of the brevity of life is: how should I be spending the time I have left in this world?
Jesus tells us not to labor for the food that perishes, but for that which leads to eternal life.

This makes me think about how I leverage what is perishing into the imperishable?  How do I leverage the mortal into immortality? How do I leverage the fading into the unfading?  Is there a way for me to leverage the temporary into the eternal?  
I believe the answer to these questions is a resounding “Yes!”

1Gospel Blog thinkers realize that our loaf of time is being shortened by the slice each day. We constantly think about how we can leverage the temporary into the permanency of eternity that becomes reality when the “time bubble” in which we find ourselves is “popped.”

Today, ask yourself:
Do I realize my world is passing away? How can I leverage the temporary aspects of my life so my life can echo into eternity?

I went out and bought all the appropriate prayer books I could find ..I had a lot to say and didn't want to risk running out of words .. and so I began .. this very intense push on the door of heaven .. I was seeking God .. I wanted him to come through .. I wanted him to know I wasn't here to play . !! Crouched on the floor ..I grew louder and more intense ( knowing I couldn't intimidate Heaven with the volume of my voice.. but tried anyway ).. the prayer points were loaded too .. almost bomb-like .. with fire falling and big .. loud explosions.. I was like .. ehen!! I'm not joking today! My intent was to 'get God' to move with intensity .. to the desperation in my act of prayer .. but spiritually I knew I was falling flat .. so this 'prayer warrior 'just got more intense .. louder .. and FIERCER .. When I was almost exhausted I heard a quiet voice .. ' TY you're going to have to dance through this one'..you are screaming alright ..but your heart is not translating .. you're are doing it in the wrong VOICE .. DANCE !! THATS YOUR AUTHENTIC VOICE ON THIS ONE.. So I did just that .. I moved out of my prayer room to a bigger space and just moved before Him .I didn't know what I was doing but I trusted my spirit's instinct .. every twirl .. leap and sway was sincere .. and heavy ..every movement I made spoke .. beyond the words of the music that played in the Background .. I was DANCING MY HEART OUT ... Then something happened .. I found my voice .. in the place of dancing.. my words .. not as loud as it was earlier .. became more precise . I knew what to say..I found new words that hit the spot .. and it was sooooo easy to pray !! It wasn't the struggle it was before .As I spoke .. every thing I was ..echoed the core of my heart.. my hands .. my legs .. my racing heartbeat .. it felt so...  When we wish God’s direction for our lives, we must always get our wishes out of the manner in order that we will honestly say, “God, I’m willing to follow either manner — no matter what you would like is what i need.” With this act you have showed God that how is the only way maker, decision maker. Try to follow Gods instruction, having a quiet time after rendering your wishes to God, for him to speak to you.

Then we are saying, “God, facilitate Me to understand what you would like by giving me a desire which you want me to work towards, if I have a wrong desire please take it away from me so I may follow yours.” Some folks don’t wish to try to to that, as a result  they assume if they need one thing, then God should be against it. That’s not true. God will use our Spirit-controlled wishes to direct us. Psalm 37:4 says, “Delight thy self also in the lord and he shall give thee the desires of thy heart (KJV). If you’re very making an attempt to try to do what’s right in God’s eyes, then your wishes are planning to be in line.

How does one apprehend after you have the proper desires? “If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask from God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given. ” (James 1:5 NIV). You say, “Lord, provide Me the proper reasonably need to try to do the proper issue.”

When you’re facing a tough call, first, you confess your sins and acquire right with God. Then you commit the choice to the Lord and keep praying till you “get in neutral” regarding it. The third step is to raise God to reveal his can by providing you with a desire: “Lord, provide Me the will to try to do the proper issue.” Remember: “It is God who worketh in you to will and to do of his food pleasure” (Philippians 2:13 KJV).


How does one apprehend if the will is from God? One smart check is time. you'll tell if a need is from God by sitting thereon for a short while and praying, “God, if this need is from you, create it stronger. If this need isn't from you, please take it away.” It’s a legitimate request — simply raise God to try to to that for you!.
Hints in making a decision right for God
1. Don't make a selfish decision: your decision should not be self centered, try to make your decision in a way people will benefit from you, God is a generous God, he blesses you to bless others.

 2. Make a righteous decision: Making a righteous decision facilitates the rate at which God responds to your wish. Sinful decisions are bad in the sight of God. Decisions like wanting to have women always around you, wanting wealth for the purpose of having too many material things.

 3. Don't be materialistic: people who make material wishes end up not getting what they want. Because all they ask for is earthly things, worldly things, like cars, money, women, assets, which will distract you from serving God. It is not bad wishing all this, but where the problem comes is when you make it your almost desire. God is a jealous God he won't give things that will make you not to serve him the way he wants.

4. Make heaven your number wish: Heaven is the last bus stop, if you acquire all the earthly things and miss heaven you haven't accomplished any thing, so while making decisions, wishes make sure making heaven is your number one need, and work towards it.

Daily Devotion - Advance God's Kingdom (Day 28)
From now on I will tell you of new things, of hidden things unknown to you. They are created now, and not long ago; you have not heard of them before today. (Isaiah 48:6-7)  
Daily devotion
Most of the world does not understand the kingdom that has been disclosed to us by the Spirit of God.  This kingdom can only be understood as God reveals himself to us. And so many Christians, even though they have some knowledge of God, are still ineffective and unfruitful in their knowledge of Jesus Christ. 

Since the time is short, it is imperative that those who are consumed by the Word of God focus their will on being empowered by the Holy Spirit to advance the kingdom of God.  God has shown all of this to us for a purpose.  We are to be engaged, allowing God to work, advance, and move his interests forward through us.  We are exhorted to excel in grace living and grace giving.  We must continually monitor what is consuming our time, talent, and treasure.  God is going to hold us accountable for the revelation that he has given to us.

Because our story has yet to be completed, it may be that God still has hidden things to reveal to us for the purpose of engaging us in further kingdom activity.  We serve a God who is awesome in power and who is able, according to scripture, to do more than we can ask, think, or imagine, according to his immeasurable power that is at work in us.  As we accomplish the tasks he has given us, we qualify ourselves for use, by the master, for additional works that he has prepared for us to do.
