How you can change from a bad habit to a good habit.

Relinquish the feelings of dread that shield you from developing. Reality will set us free, however it frequently makes us hopeless first. The dread of what we may find in the event that we sincerely confront our character deformities can keep us living in the jail of Foreswearing. Just as God is permitted to sparkle the light of his reality on our shortcomings, disappointments, and hang-ups would we be able to start to deal with them. This is the reason you can't develop without an unassuming, open to instruction state of mind.

Quit basing your personality around your "imperfections." We say, "It's much the same as me to be . . ." or "It's simply the manner in which I am." Just as the word of God said in the book of 1Timothy 4;15, " Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all "KJV, with reference to these scripture you will understand that reading and meditating on the word of God brings out good habit in you, not only meditating on it but putting it into practice. The life of Jesus Christ and so many other great men of God in the bible is an example of life to follow. Jesus had good habit.

If you are in a situation of or having  a bad habit of unforgiveness,  Jesus stated a solution to that in the bible, Matthew 18:15-17 " Moreover if thy brother shall trespass against thee, go and tell him his fault between thee and him alone; if he shall hear thee, thou has gained tgy brother". Verse 16: " But if he will not hear thee, then take with thee one or two or more, that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established." Verse 17: " And if he shall neglect to hear them, tell it unto the church; but if he neglect to hear the church, let him be unto thee as an heathen man and a publican".

You see these is a very good way of discarding the habit of unforgiveness. There are so many other bad habits be it,  stealing, smoking, drunkenness,funication,masturbation,lust,talkactiveness,gossiping, etc.
Other unlisted ways to stop a bad habit are listed below:

Read the bible: The bible has given us assurance that all solution to problems on earth are written in the word of God. It is now left for a devoted person who said s desperate about turning from a bad habit to calm down and make way for himself by reading the word of God.

Approach a counselor: There so many educated counselors who has experience or studied the human philosophies and psychology, when you meet them for advice on a particular habit do not be shy, express yourself to them, sometimes these counselors give a life experience consequences of similar habit you have, so with these you will be instigated with a positive motion on changing.

Pray about it: Articulating from the studies I made, sometimes bad habits are works of agent of the devil (Demons). Looking from the Bible' Luke 11:14 "And he was casting out a devil, and it was dumb. And it came to ass l, when the devil was gone out, the dumb spake; and the people wondered". With this you can imagine if demon can be the cause of person being dumb, how much more will it be for a bad habit? Now lets look at the same book of Luke11:24 it says " When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man he walketh through dry places, seeking rest, and finding none, he saith, I will return unto my house whence I came out".
So most times demons are the cause  of bad habits. Prayers can be the best solution to these.

I hope with these little words of exaltation, you are able to find means of stopping that bad habit. Don't fail to read other life supporting articles below.

Nigeria Gospel artist Ty Bello releases a new song tagged COLD, the song serves as a remembrance, and sympathy to those affected by the crisis happening in Nigeria.

 "I know exactly where I was when the petrol tanker "exploded in Lagos last week, killing many. I was already in front of my microphone about to start a spontaneous worship session... when @biggorgyshowed me the footage .. I immediately took stock of my entire family, to be sure everyone was home safe. I remember the relief I felt and guilt that came right after..I wasn’t entitled to the ‘relief’ I felt ... and then I remembered hundreds of people killed in Plateau state just days before ..and on and on I played similar tragedies ... I was suddenly aware of my disconnect .. I wasn’t entitled to that feeling of relief .. I felt .. numb .. hard .. cold ... This song came a few minutes after that in worship and i basically asked God to peel off the many layers I had shielded my heart with .. so that I could go on and be ‘normal’ in the middle of the chaos that has become home to all of us as a planet . We’ve all learnt to turn away from what we see as harsh realities for others .. we’ve done this to protect our sanity but it has only taken away our HUMANITY .. WE MOVE ON TOO QUICKLY. 
This song was a wake up call to me .. first and foremost ..A cry for healing .. a call to repentance .. to remembrance.
